Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of the Patas service — the AI assistant, the dashboard at app.patas.am, the Telegram mini-app and related APIs — by businesses ("you"). By creating an account you accept them on behalf of your business.

1. The service

Patas connects to the messaging channels you authorise (Telegram, WhatsApp, Instagram), answers your customers using the information you enter (services, prices, hours, FAQs), books appointments into your calendar, sends reminders and alerts, and gives you an inbox and reports. Features depend on your plan; the current plans and prices are on patas.am.

The assistant answers from your data. You are responsible for keeping your prices, hours and services accurate. The assistant is designed never to invent a price or a time, and to hand over to you when it is unsure, but it is software: you should review conversations, and you remain responsible to your customers for your bookings and services.

2. Your account

• One account per business; you may invite staff with limited roles. You are responsible for everything done under your account and for keeping credentials secure.
• You must be at least 18 and authorised to act for the business.
• You must have the right to connect the channels you connect, and you must comply with the platforms' own terms (Telegram, Meta's WhatsApp and Instagram policies).

3. Acceptable use

You may not use Patas to send spam or unsolicited marketing, to message people who have not contacted your business or opted in, to deceive customers, to offer anything illegal in Armenia or in the customer's country, or to interfere with the service. Marketing messages require the customer's consent and must respect opt-outs; Patas records consent and stops sending when a customer opts out.

4. Customer data

You are the controller of your customers' data; Patas processes it on your behalf as described in the Privacy Policy. You must have a lawful basis to let the assistant answer your customers (normally: they wrote to you) and you must honour their requests to access or delete data — the dashboard gives you the tools.

5. Plans, trial and payment

• Every plan starts with a 14-day free trial, no card required.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in Armenian drams through Idram; yearly billing gives two months free. Prices may change with 30 days' notice; the change applies from your next billing period.
• If a payment fails you have 7 days to pay; after that the assistant keeps answering but the dashboard shows a payment notice; after 30 days the account is suspended until paid.
• Fair-use limits on AI conversations apply per plan; near the limit we tell you and offer the next plan — the assistant never silently stops answering your customers.
• Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise.

6. Cancellation and deletion

You can cancel at any time; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. You can delete your account in Settings → Account: the assistant stops immediately, and all data is permanently deleted 30 days later unless you restore the account within that time. You can export your data before deleting.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it; messaging platforms, AI providers and payment systems are outside our control. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice and will not remove core functionality from a paid plan during a paid period without a refund of the unused part.

8. Intellectual property

Patas and its software are ours. Your data and content are yours; you grant us the licence needed to run the service. The assistant's replies to your customers are yours to use.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Patas is provided "as is". We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost business, or for actions of the messaging platforms, AI providers, or your customers. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. Disputes are resolved by the courts of Yerevan, after a good-faith attempt to settle by email.

11. Changes to these terms

We will post changes here and email account owners about material changes at least 14 days before they take effect.
